David Evans lectures on the History and Theory of Photography at The Arts University College at Bournemouth. Publications include John Heartfield: AIZ / VI 1930-38 (1992), Appropriation (2009) and Critical Dictionary (2011). He is a contributor to many Art & Photography journals, including Afterimage, Eye, Foam, Oxford Art Journal, Photography & Culture, Sic and Source. He is currently working on a new book about “Walking Art”.
